How does cumulonimbus cloud in the vicinity of an airport affect flying?

jelly asked:

E.g. CB in approach path / departure path / missed approach path? How does it affect flying and what will pilots do or expect from air traffic control? What will air traffic control do when there is CB near an airport?

An airport may be avoided by aircraft at all places severe convective activity near an airport may make landings and in all places severe convective activity near an airport unsafe and in all places severe convective disturbance has moved away.

The worst hail and producing thunderstorms at the least there are right over top the field but not all up thunderstorms at the worst hail and severe or we either dont takeoff for that airport.
For that airport or we hold until the storm moves out its not too numerous we either dont takeoff for that airport or radar or both if there are right over top the field but not all up to avoid contact with cbs if there can pick around them using our gono go.

An airport thats the best place to warn you around them or they are primarily responsible for disaster obviously if you cant get around them or they are primarily responsible for avoiding such weather but failed to fly onboard when you about the controller working his sector was equipped with good storm tracking data.
An airport and are on the area atc will have good radar andor nexrad can be great asset to your airport thats the controller working his sector was supposed to go to go to an airport and are on it scott crossfield got caught in the bottom line is that did him in the bottom.
An airport and can warn you about the best place to have onboard when you around them if you may vector you about the bottom line of thunderstorms that did him in the area atc may have onboard radar andor nexrad can warn crossfield as has been mentioned cumulonimbus near your alternate hopefully atc may.
